Medical Training, Advanced is designed to refresh and strengthen cadets’ foundational medical knowledge while providing practical, hands-on application in a dynamic training environment. This course builds upon previously learned basic medical skills and reinforces the confidence, leadership, and decision-making abilities required in real-world scenarios.

Throughout the training, cadets will review core medical topics such as patient assessment, vital signs, bleeding control, shock recognition, splinting, airway management, CPR/AED procedures, and general first aid protocols. Emphasis will be placed on proper documentation, communication, and teamwork in medical situations.

A key component of this training is the operation of the TGSC01 Triage Unit, where cadets will provide real-time medical support during training evolutions. This is not a simulated environment. Students will assess actual patients, prioritize care based on severity, and make time-sensitive decisions while maintaining composure and professionalism.
